A live outline finds the page in the viewfinder and captures once you hold it steady; four-corner detection and a crop editor fix the framing; perspective correction recovers the page's true proportions so an angled shot does not come out squashed. Then shadow removal, paper whitening and colour correction, multi-page PDF export, and share or save anywhere.
The Challenge
Everyone already has a scanner app and everyone resents it. They paywall the export, watermark the output, or want a subscription to save more than three pages — always at the moment you are standing in an office trying to send one form.
Our Solution
The hard parts are the ones the free apps skip. Perspective correction that recovers real proportions rather than just cropping a rectangle. Adaptive shadow removal, because a page photographed indoors is never evenly lit. And finger removal — the fingers holding the page down, and the shadows they cast, detected and painted out. It asks for the camera and nothing else: no storage permission at all.
