A preparation platform for internationally trained doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals sitting the OET English exam or interviewing for a training post. Three ways to practise — matched peers on live video, a voice AI practice partner with selectable personas, and a marketplace of human tutors and mentors — all converging on the same per-criterion marked feedback, targeted drill packs, and progress measured against a real exam date. Twenty feature modules cover scheduling, availability matching, a question bank, community, outcome tracking and per-product billing.
The Challenge
Preparation stalls the moment the other person is unavailable: the peer cancels, the tutor is asleep, the timezones never line up. That is the real constraint, not the video. The second problem is trust — a grader people rely on for a career decision has to mean the same thing in month six as it did on launch day, and a model that quietly drifts is worse than no score at all.
Our Solution
Three practice routes so nothing blocks: timezone-aware peer matching on live video, a voice AI partner with selectable personas available at any hour, and a two-sided tutor marketplace with its own dashboard. All three end in the same rubric-aligned scoring. Graders run against a calibration harness, and a drift sentinel re-runs them daily and control-charts band stability, so degradation surfaces as a chart rather than as a complaint. Every one of the 77 server routes verifies a Firebase ID token; admin impersonation is fully audited; and entitlement is derived once in a pure function that the provider, the hook and the tests all share, so the three cannot drift apart.
